When the Clock Strikes 12

Cheers to the New Year, right? I won't lie, many times I yelled the same ole saying "New Year, New Me" and was on the same sh*t that very same year. So, exactly, how do we bring about a new you for the new year? One word: Reflection. Reflection is key. In 2020 I've learned so much about myself. 2020 was filled with lesson after lesson. It was draining, honestly but what I didn't realize was it was building me for the New Year and the New Me. The only way to activate that New You for the New Year is to take those lessons of 2020 and apply them to 2021. Reflect baby! Sometimes you find yourself in the same loop from the previous year because there's always something that'll test you to pull you back but that's where those lessons come in. Remember them. Do you want to go backwards or  do you want to embrace the Queen/King God created you to be? Move forward, move on, be better because better is waiting on the other side for you <3

Reflection can be a very empowering process. It can help you to make sense of your day; to come to decisions, to set a course of action; to step away from your habitual way of doing and thinking and discover new freedoms and opportunities.

Meditate on Romans 12:2 "Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect."
